Partnerships
Bring us your business idea
As part of growing beyond savings, NSCL partners with people who have strong business ideas. Accepted proposals become a partnership with NSCL, with profits shared as agreed and the proposer actively running the business.
Partnerships are currently handled by NSCL while NICL, our investment company, is paused.
Ask us for the proposal template.
- 1
Shape your idea. Think about the market need, your experience, and the profit and community benefit. Do some basic research on competitors, customers and the numbers.
- 2
Talk to us first (optional, recommended). Have a short chat with the Investment Committee to check that your idea fits our investment focus.
- 3
Complete the proposal. Use the NSCL Business Proposal Template, attach your supporting documents and send it in.
- 4
We acknowledge it within 5 business days.
- 5
Investment Committee review. We look at viability, the financial projections, risks and fit with NSCL's goals, and may ask questions. You'll get feedback: accepted, declined or needs changes.
- 6
Partnership agreement. If approved, we agree the profit-sharing, roles and contributions; the agreement is legally reviewed, then both sides sign.
